Tonight's Artist-Taiyo Na

I just caught this guy live at a Pan Asian Pacific American festival.

This song is about his mother who was an immigrant. It reminded me that when it comes to immigration in this country, the mothers raising kids here legally or even illegally have it the hardest of all.

I wish all mothers a Happy Mother's Day and especially to those, who Americans seldom think about, women raising children in a country they themselves didn't grow up in.

The song is called "Lovely to Me (Immigrant Mother)."
