So let's see...we got Geraldine Ferraro sparking a fire storm for saying this:
If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.
OK so she sounds like a well-to-do white person ignoring the obvious realities of being black in America as presented on the evening news. So she stuck her foot in her mouth.
What does she do next?
She says she's being attacked for being white and she can't be fired from a campaign she doesn't work for.
Ferraro said the Clinton campaign cannot fire her because she is not an adviser.
"It's impossible to fire somebody who's not involved with it," she said.
I can't be fired
Well that's a lie. Here's Ferraro stepping down as an advisor to the Clinton campaign:
Dear Hillary –
I am stepping down from your finance committee so I can speak for myself and you can continue to speak for yourself about what is at stake in this campaign...
Ferraro goes down bigotted
Now I hear that Ferraro is a FoxNews contributor. Maybe the taint is rubbing off on her and she feels she no longer needs to use facts.
Let's call this a defeat for the Republican wing of the Democratic Party.
