I dont know, I think death metal is kinda nerdy. it appeals to the social outcast.
My Rant: I have &$%^(ing sciatica in my left hip. It hurts constantly and there is little to no relief since I am pregnant. Thank jebus my month long head cold is finally subsiding since sneezing is excruciating. i think this baby may be an only child if all these weird health issues keep up. I'm only 11 weeks and 3 days and I have battled allergies, arthritis, a head cold, 15 new pounds and now sciatica. Awesome!
I forgot to mention that I also broke a tooth - chipped a back molar. A tooth for every child indeed!
And to make things even worse than they can possibly be, I am out of paid time off for this year so anytime I take to see a doctor for the sciatica has to be made up by working extra late. fun fun!
okay, i think i am done whining for the day:)
back to the death metal thing: Do you watch The Office? Dwight is always listening to metal in his car before important meetings or sales calls.

S. City, so sorry to hear that you're going through so much pain while pregnant. A friend of mine would actually go numb all the way down her leg if the baby stuck his foot in the wrong place, so I at least understand what you're going through. It was terribly painful for her, too. I hope it gets better, lady!
And yeah, I guess I didn't think about Dwight and the metal. It does make more sense now.

thanks ya'll. I dont have tooth pain, i have sciatic nerve pain in my hip. Got lucky on the tooth, it was jsut a chip and the dentist filed it down.
i like metal too and i am definitely a nerd:)
About the teeth: That's good.
About metal...yeah I never really got into it. But it's true, most of my nerdy friends were really into it. King Diamond, Pantera, Anthrax, Megadeath, Metallica were bands that my friends in high school listened to. I listened to The Cure, Depeche Mode and Duran Duran.
I was finally on the same page with my buddies after grunge came out. We could all agree that Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, Stone Temple Pilots and Alice in Chains was the shiznet. But that was after I got out of high school.
