Open thread-

Feel free to chit chat.

What did you do last week end? Anything good? Something to recommend?

Additional:

Blogspot has a new section called the blog roll. It's a combination rss feed with site link. It's on the left side where the regular boring blogroll with standard links used to be.

My weekend was horrible and I dont want to talk about it.

This weekend will be better- we are putting on a bout Saturday night. My team is host team so I get to mingle with the fans- one of my very favorite activities:)

I had a great weekend. I took the kiddos to the Gateway race track to see the taping of Pinks All Out. For those of you that don't know what that is, it's a show on Speedvision where they race for money. Everybody had a blast. There was a lot of drunk hoosiers there, though. Anyway, my kids got to see the guys from the show, and watch some great racing.

Sorry to hear you had a bad weekend S. City. Do you have a game also this coming weekend? I like to hear that players really do enjoy being with their fans. I know it's a big deal to children that there fave players make them feel involved. Well, in your case, probably a lot of grown men, too (haha)!

Anybody else have something to share?

I watched the Eurocup game with a bunch of drunk Irish and germans. It was a lot of fun.

Strangely enough there was only one spaniard in the bunch.

Hey Sunshine,

Are you having trouble posting on CL right now?

I keep on entering the captcha text and they keep telling me I entered it wrong. Are you getting the same thing?

Yes, Sunshine, we have a game Saturday night. Kids 10 and under are free- this bout has a patriotic theme and we are offering discounted tickets (8 bucks) to civil service personnel (ie cops/firefighter/emts). Reg tix are 10 bucks.

The kids are a fun part of rollerderby They really have a good time at the bouts- and we love giving autographs to them after the games. Some of our most hardcore fans are 7-12 years old, girls and boys alike.
