This is being called "The Gotcha Debate" by The Huffington Post, and I have to say the charge seems valid to me.
ABC News had an hour and half about questions about bullshit controversies instead of things like gas and energy use which was saved until the rapid fire segment. I thought Obama played it off well and Clinton certainly proved that she's able to sling some muck with the best of them.

That's what pisses me off!! They always want to debate bullshit, and leave the real issues for quick comments.
Another good job on the live debate. Besides the long refreshes of the page it was great.
re long refreshes: The site seemed to slow down tonight on my end.
And ABC is hearing an earful from its viewers about the bullshit questions. Crooks and Liars has got some comment board screen grabs before they shut the comment section down.
ABC is still posting comments. Im not sure what Crooks is talking about. May-be it went down at one point, but it's back up now, people are still posting.
OMG ABC got over 3390 comments at last look.
Maybe C&L caught it in the middle of crash and ABC has recovered since.
Wow!
