You have to turn the audio up a little on this one. Singing "Prison Sex" Tool always makes a great video.

Yeah Tool is great. They have the cleanest monster guitar riffs. I think they started out playing in their HS jazz band together.
Im not trying to tell anybody how to interpret a song. Each song means something to each listner. But this song might be a little mis-leading by the title. Maynard (the writer and singer) has said that this song is about child sexual abuse. With that in mind the video might make a little more sense to some.
For me my favorite bands are, bands that have something to say. Not just repeating 10 words over and over. I like to read lyrics (a lot) for me it makes the song more enjoyable. And my favorite videos are the raw type video. And if it's shot on stage I like all members to get equal camera time. Little long here but Im just sayin'.
I tend to agree with you that great bands have great lyrics in their music...like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink Floyd, Zep...
Do you have a top ten bands off the top of your head?
It's always hard for me to do the top 10 bands. I know that's kind of a cop out but it is what it is. I tend to like the harder music, but I can listen to almost anything. Country is totally out. I could give you a couple of my favorite song writers though.
Dave Mustaine
Neil Peart
Bob Dylan, although I kind of hate when he sings his own stuff. But his writing and meaning of lyrics is great. The 30th tribute concerts to Bob Dylan was one of the best I ever seen. All different groups doing his music.
Yeah I agree that Dylan writing is better than singing.
Do you like Incubus?
Oh yeah, Incubus is the real deal.
