I first started hearing Conservative hate speech during Clinton's presidency. In 2000, Bush promised to bring a nicer tone to politics and be a uniter. I thought to myself, "Yeah but it's the Conservatives who are coursening the debate. So why trust them?"
And they never have stopped bashing liberals in the most hateful manner possible. Conservatives and their pundits constantly talk about liberals as being "diseased", "traitors" and "Al Qaeda sympathizers." Conservatives are just not nice people.
I think more Americans are turning that garbage off, but it saddens me it took them this long to figure it out.
